This role will work in a team that is responsible for generating increased enterprise earnings through development of commercial midstream strategies, identification and development of new commercial opportunities, management of midstream commercial transactions, collaboration with trading teams and contribution to global value chain optimization, across commodities particularly crude and oil products.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Have a strong understanding of Asia Pacific oil and gas market. Routinely scans industry publications and databases as well as business news organizations for information on key regional developments and to identify emerging trends. Conducts analyses and communicates key insights to leaders and team members that help shape strategies and tactics.

• Originate complex, multi-commodity transactions, including those that require financial structuring. Network and leverage existing industry relationships to generate leads, gather market intel, and develop commercial opportunities.

• Develop external/internal communication materials and present/communicate on a variety of subjects to a wide variety of audiences including, but not limited to external partners, business development community, Corporate Leadership.

• Provide technical, analytical and commercial support to trading teams in Asia, incorporating knowledge on long term market trends, supply/demand balances, commercial and trading principles and processes, and good knowledge of specific markets.

• Work with trading teams to grow trading business, leveraging on  technical, analytical and commercial skills, and incorporating knowledge on long term market trends, supply/demand balances, commercial and trading principles and processes, and good knowledge of specific markets.

• May require travel: 25-50%.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• 10 years industry experience

• Understanding of oil and gas industry in Asia

• Oil and gas trading origination experience with history of deal capture highly preferred

Relocation Options:

Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.

International Considerations:

Selected candidate will be based in Singapore under the local payroll system and benefits.
