About the Role
The Branch of Chevron Munaigas Inc. currently has an open position forAdvisor, External & Media Relations.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about external media relations, have excellent writing and editing skills, a flexible and approachable attitude with an ability to balance simultaneous projects and meet deadlines, have an eye for innovation and continuous process and personal improvement.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Manages media and executive engagements in the region.
- Acts as spokesperson for Chevron with local media, conducting media relations to support business goals and enhance reputation.
- Provides strategic communication advice on key issues and advocacy campaigns.
- Coaches executives for media/public speaking engagements and manages relationships with key media partners.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in communications / media relations / journalism or related fields;
- At least 5 years of external and internal communication experience;
- High level of knowledge of diverse, multilingual and challenging communications and mass media environment in Kazakhstan;
- Excellent knowledge of Kazakh, Russian and English languages;
- Excellent communication skills, writing and editing capabilities and proofreading;
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
