Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd is accepting online applications for the position of Petroleum Engineer located in Bangkok, Thailand through January 9, 2026(11:59 PM Thailand Time).
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Perform day-to-day well surveillance, analysis, and optimization (SA&O), including remote compressor and PWRI to maximize production within facility limits
Generate and review required well work request (WWR) for well intervention, including well integrity related
Work closely with multi-discipline teams to continuously develop new/infill drilling projects to maintain well deliverability to meet production targets
Participate and work on the annual reserves update as per the CRS process. Perform P1D reserves evaluation
Manage well/asset integrity issues
Actively participate in weekly optimization meetings, initial completion review (ICR), and integrated platform review (IPR) meetings
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
Experience in production engineering and operations (well surveillance, analysis and optimization); Performance monitoring/improvement
Experience in reservoir engineering concepts and processes; including volumetric determination; rock and fluid properties; reserves estimation and asset/field development plan
Teamwork: Able to work as a team and cross-functional to achieve common shared goals. Able to work and align team direction to meet business objectives and exhibit good behaviors when dealing with others
Communication: Able to clearly communicate and articulate ideas and/or project results to internal/external stakeholders
