Chevron Venezuela SCM is responsible for supporting the company’s operations through the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of materials, services, and logistics required by the business units (EMs).
As the team grows and new changes are introduced, it is more critical than ever to monitor progress and communicate process statuses clearly to stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective decision-making.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
SCM Intern to support PI C&P activities:
Design and develop a real-time monitoring tool to track both financial and physical execution of PI active contracts.
Create an integration solution that consolidates data from three ERP systems to enable effective monitoring and tracking of material purchases and deliveries.
Support the implementation of an interactive Power BI dashboard that integrates key performance metrics from PI Contracting, Procurement, and Warehouse departments.
Analyze and identify process improvement opportunities within the contracting and procurement request workflows to reduce cycle times and enhance efficiency.
Additional routinary tasks will be requested to the intern related to SCM function and processes.
Required Qualifications:
Excellent skills in MS Office (especially Excel and Power BI) with strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills in both Spanish and English.
Careful, good attention to details.
Regular Students of Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting or related fields in their final years of university.

Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
