About the position:

The Deputy Technical Product Owner for Cloud Edge/OT provides oversight and leadership to the India-based Cloud Edge/OT technical delivery team. This position supervises team members, identifies and manages skillsets within capacity of the team, and ensures successful delivery execution of assigned Agile epics. The position partners with Cloud architects and other Technical Product Owners to align and deliver edge/OT solutions.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, optimize, and maintain cloud-based solutions.
  • Responsible for deploying and debugging cloud stacks and ensuring the reliability and security of the cloud infrastructure.
  • Identify the most optimal cloud-based solutions for our digital platforms and maintain cloud infrastructures in accordance with best practices and company security policies.
  • Understand the nuances of different cloud solutions (hybrid, public, private, multi-cloud, on-prem) and implications for solution design.
  • Apply excellent troubleshooting skills, stay current with industry trends, and must be a team player. 
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Azure/On-prem environments and services.
  • Deploy and manage modern and legacy environments through automation and DevOps approach.
  • Design and implement application security for Azure cloud and On-prem native solutions.
  • Collaborate with software engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
  • Modify and improve existing systems.
  • Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
  • Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems.
  • Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.

Required Qualifications:
  • Must have bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or related discipline
  • 0-5 years experience
  • A minimum of 2+ years of dedicated Azure Experience platform services.
  • AZ900 Certification & AZ104 Certification
  • Demonstrated experience in at least 2 of the following areas but not limited to: Azure Network, Azure security, Azure IaaS (Windows/Linux) administration, Azure Monitoring and Management Services, Azure Directory Services.
  • Experience in Hybrid IT platform, storage, networking, and virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V or equivalent)
  • Proficient in managing Hybrid IT infrastructures, encompassing storage solutions, network architecture, and virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or their equivalents.
  • Advanced proficiency in scripting with languages such as Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or comparable scripting languages.
  • Extensive experience in cloud-centric methodologies, with a focus on automation and orchestration within the Azure DevOps framework.
  • Experience in architecting and implementing cloud-based solutions with reliance on compliance and security frameworks

Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, supporting business requirements across the world. Accordingly, the work hours for employees will be aligned to support business requirements. The standard work week will be Monday to Friday. Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm or 1.30pm to 10.30pm.
