About The Position:
Lead the design, implementation, and support of secure Process Control Network (PCN) environments, with a strong focus on firewall technologies, network segmentation, and site network design.
The role requires hands-onexpertiseinPalo Alto firewalls,AlgoSec, ServiceNow, and Agile delivery, supporting global industrial network deployments and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implementPCN network infrastructure(firewalls, routing, switching). Looking at 10 – 15 Yrs exp candidates for the role.
Leadfirewallarchitecture, policy management, and segmentation (Purdue model)
Managefirewalllifecycle usingAlgoSecfor policy analysis, compliance, and automation
Developtechnical designs, implementation plans, and test strategies
ProvideTier-3 supportfor complex incidents and coordinate with vendors
Execute changes throughServiceNow (incident & change management)
Collaborate with global teams to implement solutions and resolve escalations
Driveautomation, process improvement, and Agile delivery practices
SupportBCP/DR activities and network resiliency initiatives
Develops and implements solutions and processes tomaintainthe reliability, effectiveness, andefficiency of network security infrastructure components across the enterprise and associated processcontrol environments.
Works with project managers, team members, architects, businessunitsand other stakeholders tocreate agile solutions,identifyingcontinuous improvement opportunities, creating new or improvedprocesses and automation to support step changes in operational efficiencies.
Analysesnetwork security needs and designs solutions that meet business requirements for protection, standardization, efficiency, scalability, supportability, and cost-effectiveness. Contributes to lifecycle activities.
Follows standard change management processes and practices when introducing technical changes to the environment.
Must-Have Skills
Strong hands-on experience inPalo Alto firewalls (mandatory)
Expertiseinfirewallpolicy design, security segmentation
Experience withAlgoSec(policy analysis & automation)
Experience withServiceNow (incident/change management)
Strong knowledge ofrouting & switching (BGP, OSPF, VRF, VLANs)
Experience inindustrial / PCN / OT network environments
Good-to-Have Skills
Knowledge ofPurdue model / OT segmentation
Experience withAgile/Scrum delivery
Exposure tonetwork automation (Python/APIs)
Experience withcentralizedfirewallmanagement (e.g., Panorama)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’sdegree inIT / Computer Science or related field
Certifications:CCNP, Palo Alto (PCNSE preferred)
