About the position:
The Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of employee transportation services and Expat and Visitor Logistics collaborating with our selected logistics vendor. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills, who can ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation of employees to and from Chevron office.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and the logistics vendor for all transportation-related matters on-ground
Monitor the performance of the logistics & transportation vendor, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Mainatin a help-desk along with the logistics & transportation vendor at the Chevron GCC to adress and resolve any transportation issues or ad-hoc requests
Maintain the feedback received from employees & collaborate with the logistics & transportation vendor to implement transportation strategies to improve service quality and cost-effectiveness
Collect and maintain transportation data from the vendor, including employee ridership statistics, cancellation data and incident reports
Conduct regular reviews and audits of transportation services
Collaborate with the HSE team to ensure Chevron HSE controls are implemented across transportation services
Ensure that all transportation services adhere to company policies, local and national regulations
Support in transportation budgeting & forecasting
Provide regular reports to HSE team/ management on transportation activities, challenges, and achievements
Provide inputs to the management on the Chevron transport policy requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Strong understanding of local transportation logistics and fleet management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams including vendors & drivers
Proficient with transportation management softwares
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
Knowledge of local and national transportation regulations and safety standards
Preferred Qualifications
Experience of working on MoveInSync/ Routematic technology
Experience of working with large Banglore-based organizations
