About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a StarCard Growth and Retention Specialist. This role will be based in Brisbane Head Office.

The role is primarily responsible for ensuring profitable customer retention and growth within the existing StarCard customer base. You will be required to have a strong analytical and outbound sales approach to ensure KPIs for retention and growth are met and propose businesses cases as required. Working cross functionally within the organization will be required to help you achieve your goals, leveraging marketing, BI tools and other resources to assist you.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Identifies and manages existing StarCard customers to support retention and growth through outbound contact

  • Develops management and reporting tools to support business needs

  • Owns KPIs related to customer retention and growth

  • Ensures proposals are commercially profitable

  • Coordinates service delivery of proposals with the external StarCard service provider

  • Builds and maintains a competitor knowledge base for the organization

  • Records customer interactions accurately in the CRM system

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Applies a proactive approach to sales

  • Possesses experience in retail and/or commercial & industrial (C&I) fuel sectors

  • Develops commercially sound proposals

  • Handles high volumes of outbound calls

  • Demonstrates strong analytical and reporting capabilities, including advanced Excel proficiency

  • Shows a high level of initiative and self-motivation
