Chevron’s Business Support Center (BASSC), located in Buenos Aires, is accepting applications for the position of Lead Data Analyst - Profiling & Cleansing. Successful candidates will join the IT Organization, which is part of a multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1800 employees that deliver business services and solutions to the corporation across the globe.

The successful candidate will be working in the Digital Core team which is an enterprise-wide program that will replace and connect more than a dozen different Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems through a single, cloud-based system. It’s based on SAP S/4HANA and will modernize our data systems with an effort spanning seven years.

This role focuses on ensuring alignment across Digital Core Release 4 Internal & External Stakeholders on program milestones and deliverables for the Data Cleansing workstream. The Data cleansing workstream includes data profiling and cleansing to meet cutover requirements. Release 4 includes business units involved in downstream operations as well as those focused on midstream activities.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Serves as the project manager for the Data profiling & cleansing execution.
  • Ensure Data Plan is aligned and understood within Digital Core functional ARTs (agile release train engineers) and within the Business Units. Data cleansing plan to begin with Asset Management (AM) data, followed by Material Master (MM), Finance (FIN) and Hydro-carbon value chain (HCVC). Communicates significant plan changes to the BU and shared services

–Develops a Release 4 Digital Core data cleansing roadmap with clear internal milestones across functional Data teams and Business Unit data cleansing project manager.

–Tracks and reports out the progress on profiling and cleansing activities across the enterprise which rolls up into the program updates.

–Plans and Coordinates requirements gathering for profiling and cleansing.

–Can explain execution details, outcomes and connect the dots across Agile Release Trains project managers, Data Product Owners, and Business Unit project managers.

–Conducts X-functional retros within the project and influence data teams’ execution tactics proactively.

–Support Data Cleansing Workstream Readiness and coordination with testing, cutover and deployment workstreams.

–Risks and Issues resolution

–Conduct training and onboarding of new Business Units and new members on the data cleansing workstream.

Required Qualifications:

–Senior Project Management – milestones driven (not agile)

–Experience in JDE and SAP – ECC and S/4 data models is a must. Chevron specific knowledge of JDE and S/4 preferred

–Proven experience with ERP transformations - master data standardization, conversion, migration and cutover strategies

–Process automation (RPA, AI, dashboarding, etc.)

–Experience engaging Business stakeholders/customer facing
