General Summary
Lead a few procurement agents (category specialists) and support Chevron EMED branch ongoing needs for purchasing goods and services for the local Facilities Engineering, IT, Supply Chain and Operations. Looking for an experience procurement person that understands the end-to-end processes and IT systems not only in procurement but the entire supply chain.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
• Main domains: Facilities Engineering and construction projects, Supply Chain, vessels, fuel orders, offshore facilities support services.
• High understandings in the following categories: project and project timeline, I&E, electro/mechanical services, construction, fabrication, professional services and maintenance facilities. Additional fields of procurement such as chemicals, fuel, pipes, filters, water systems, mechanics (especially electro-mechanics), construction, and electronics - advantage.
• Project support oriented and service-oriented attitude as well as a team player.
• Responsible of managing team workload and executing purchase orders via the SAP system.
• Sourcing, negotiating, and engaging with suppliers mainly in Israel. Working to build price lists and commercial accords with suppliers. Europe and the USA mainly (China less relevant).
• Similar relevant companies: INGL(Natgas), Bazan, Adama, ICL, Tashan, Mekorot, Enlight, Elbit/Taas, Efcon, Electra, Refael, IEC, Paz, Delek, Sonol, Energy related companies such as Halliburton/Baker Hughes.
• Interact with pier purchasing professionals worldwide (mainly in Philippines, Gulf of America, Nigeria, Angola and Houston based office).
• Training new buyers and monitoring competitive performance of the procurement agents while aligning to Chevron processes and procedures best practices.
• Assisting with the company’s constant cost reduction efforts.
• Ongoing interaction with technical professionals at company operational facilities - both onshore and offshore.
• Ensure collaboration and working relationships and collaborations with other SCM department leaders and finance.
• Enforcing and Chevron processes and procedures and at the same time suggesting efficient ways to provide support.
• Engaged in Chevron efforts to increase local content.


Job Requirements
• Fluent in business English & Hebrew - Mandatory
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant studies such as Logistics, Economics or another relevant field such as “Taasia Venihul” or relevant associate engineering degree – Mandatory
• Over 3 years of experience in the relevant fields (procurement/contracts) including managing at least 2-3 buyers - Mandatory
• Mechanical/I&E expertise with technical drawings experience - Advantage
• At least 3 years of experience in similar procurement position from related industries – water, construction, I&E, fabrication, chemical, heavy industry - Advantage
• At least 3 years of experience with projects in the relevant categories/activities - Advantage
• Vast experience in integration of procurement related IT system - Advantage
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Power Point – Mandatory
• High skills in reports and usage of AI tools such as Copilot and other AI tools - Advantage
• Experienced with SAP /Oracle/ GDE/Ariba or other leading ERP systems - Mandatory
• Knowledge of the oil & gas industry or Energy sector– Advantage
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the company and external parties - Mandatory
• Team player, but able to work independently - Mandatory
• Highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks – Mandatory

Working Conditions
• Permanent residence in Israel
• Normal office environment in Herzliya offices with occasional meetings at supplier’s facilities (Hybrid according to Company Policy)
