Advisor, Organizational Development and Team Effectiveness plays a critical role in accelerating the delivery of business value through enhancing organizational effectiveness, team development, and connection to strategy at Chevron. This position involves supporting Chevron’s overall Culture & Change Management strategy. This position is designed for individuals who have extensive experience in the Organizational Development and Team Sciences functions and are looking to further grow and expand their growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid foundation in organizational development and effectiveness principles, and the ability to assist with the implementation of innovative solutions that drive business outcomes.
Learning and Development:
- Assists in the oversight and administration of third-party firms tasked with on-ground delivery of Team Development & Intervention, Team & Leadership Coaching, and organizational effectiveness models.
- Track and manage training budget.
Technical Training Programs:
- Assists in the oversight and administration of certain bespoke programs targeted towards leadership teams including coordination of logistics, communication with facilitators, room setup, communication with participants, and general coordination and follow up activities.
Projects:
- Lead assigned Organizational Development projects and initiatives aimed at improving organizational culture, employee satisfaction, and alignment of Organizational Development processes to HR best practices.
Change Management:
- Lead change management initiatives by providing analysis, feedback and recommendations to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes or systems.
- Lead the development of change management plans and preparation of materials needed to successfully execute the change management plan.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze data related to team performance, engagement and development.
- Translates data into actionable insights that inform recommendations and data-driven decisions for program optimizations.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate recommendations to leadership.
Mentorship:
- Provides mentorship and guidance to our HR Operations colleagues by sharing their extensive experience to help inform optimizations to processes and systems.
Required Qualifications:
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make actionable recommendations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with other team members and stakeholders across the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Expert level knowledge of organizational development principles and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to report and analyze data with attention to detail.
- Extensive expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience, preferably in Talent Management, Organizational Development, or a related field, and preferably in a senior level analytical or advisory role.
- Experience with data analysis, content generation, and development of presentation materials.
- Experience with tangentially related concepts like Red Teaming, strategy development, or consulting.
Relocation Options:
Relocation may be considered within Chevron parameters.
International Considerations:
Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
