The Senior Manager, Executive Development is responsible for shaping and delivering executive and senior leadership development solutions across the enterprise. This role serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and Business HR, bringing deep expertise in executive leadership development, executive coaching, and senior leadership talent development to strengthen leadership capability and succession pipelines.
This position leads the design and delivery of enterprise executive development programs, integrates senior leader development into the broader Learning & Talent portfolio, and contributes to the evolution of the organization’s enterprise learning and talent strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior subject-matter expert in executive leadership development, executive coaching, and senior leadership talent pool development.
- Advise and partner with senior HR leaders, Business HR, and business leaders to design and deliver executive development strategies aligned with enterprise priorities.
- Lead the design and delivery of executive and senior leadership development programs that strengthen leadership capability and support enterprise leadership and succession pipelines.
- Collaborate across the Learning & Talent organization to manage and integrate senior leadership development initiatives within the broader learning and talent portfolio.
- Mentor and develop learning and talent professionals, building enterprise capability in leadership development, executive development, and coaching program management.
- Act as deputy to the General Manager, Talent Development, contributing to the evolution of enterprise learning and development strategy, supporting team management efforts, and leading special initiatives as assigned.
- Monitor external market trends, benchmarking, and insights to inform executive development strategy and ensure offerings remain relevant, modern, and impactful.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, human resources, organizational leadership, international business, communications, psychology, industrial and org psychology or comparable fields of study
- Proven experience designing/leading executive and senior leadership development and coaching in large, complex organizations
- Proven partnership with HR generalists and senior executives; aligning programs to enterprise priorities; ability to collaborate with external partners
- Strong strategic thinking and influencing; sound judgment in complex, senior-level environments
- Trusted-advisor mindset; translate business needs into scalable development solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in business administration, human resources, organizational leadership, international business, communications, psychology, industrial and org psychology or comparable fields of study
- Demonstrated impact on leadership capability and organizational performance
- Ability to use external benchmarking and trends to shape recommendations and keep programs competitive
