Chevron Malaysia Limited (CML) is accepting online applications for the position of Operator 2 located in Pasir Gudang Joint Venture Terminal, Malaysia through August 25, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (Malaysia Time).
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Executes the following operational activities and comply with OE/HES policy, standard and procedure:
Tank Truck Loading: Perform delivery confirmation in SAP; Perform loading function by setting correct volume and filling of tank truck compartment per Delivery Note and loading slip from competitors; Record and reconcile loaded quantity into meter log; Record and report any malfunctioning of Accuload meter; Gauge product level and temperature from storage tank daily.
Marine Barge loading: Assembly of hoses and loading equipment at the jetty; Perform delivery confirmation in SAP; Perform loading function by setting volume and filling of tank truck compart; Perform loading function by setting correct volume and filling of tank truck compartment per Delivery Note; Record and reconcile loaded quantity into meter log.
Marine Receipt (& Inter tank transfer): Perform hose connection and assembly of receiving equipment; Take individual ship tank sample from marine vessel; Conduct density, flash point and appearance test on ship’s samples; Take hourly sample from receiving pipeline; Perform opening gauge before receiving and conduct density test; Record hourly discharge rate; Perform hourly inspection on pipeline, hose and other receiving facilities during receiving; Perform dye injection during receiving; Perform hourly LEL test during receiving at manifold; Perform closing gauge after receiving; Perform duty as jetty man to supervise the operation and safe pumping of product at marine loading arm to jetty manifold; Gauge product level tank after settling time together with Lead Operator & Surveyor; Execute water draw off from tanks as per terminal procedure.
PME Receipt & Storage: Take individual compartment sample from tank truck; Complete discharge checklist together with LO and make all targeted hose, valve connection; Conduct 5 point test: Density, Flash point, Water content and appearance on samples taken; Record quantity received from the accuload meter in the log book; Perform weekly water draw off from PME tank; Perform weekly water content test on sample taken from storage tanks.
Additive receipt and Storage: Perform inspection on drum condition and labeling; Verify product code as per Delivery Note from Supplier; Stacking of additive at drum yard; Perform additive top up for day tank as and when required.
Assist Lead Operator to oversee planned/unplanned maintenance activities such as but not limited to fire and safety equipment, pipeline, tank truck loading rack, storage tank, valves, forklift, environmental protection equipment, emergency response equipment, tank gauging facilities, office building, calibration of equipment, critical equipment such as product pumps.
To maintain good house-keeping for terminal. Paint touch up, stacking of equipment, sampling warehouse, hoses, and cleanliness of the terminal.
Cleaning of oil water separator.
Draw water sample from underground monitoring well weekly to visual check for presence of oil.
Drive forklift to carry additive for topping up day tank, also staking of additives drums and other activities as required..
Conduct Monthly Terminal Inspection checklist with Lead Operator and highlight action required to Terminal Manager.
Participate in Safety Meetings, Stand Downs, Loss Prevention System Observations (LPOs), Job Loss Safety Analyses (JLSAs), monthly fire drills, quarterly security drills, yearly oil spill drill and all other operational meeting as and when required.
Participate in all scheduled training and utilize learned skills in the fulfillment of day-to-day activities.
Perform any other duties as assigned by Lead Operator and Terminal Manager.

Minimum requirement Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)

Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
