Chevron is seeking a a highly skilled professional to join our team. The ideal candidate has experiencewith trade associations, multi-lateral institutions, sustainability focused groups and investors. This role requires collaborating with stakeholders to support various initiatives and exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Interface with stakeholders to help shape policy in support of business objectives in Europe

  • Track, assess and provide analysis on key trends. 

  • Identify and analyze potential business implications and opportunities, advocacy positions, messaging and proactive strategies to address priority lower carbon and policy issues in Europe

  • Influence strategy and communications approach based on data and analysis derived from interaction with the lower carbon community.

  • Support ESG related investor engagements in Europe.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, political science, finance, sustainability or related field.

  • Proven expertise in European government, political, socio-economic, historical, trade, sanctions, and related issues and stakeholders. 

  • Proven ability to form and develop strategic relationships with external partners and key stakeholders and represent the company in external engagements.

  • Demonstrated written, verbal, analytical, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. 

  • Proven ability to manage complex portfolio, deadlines, schedule(s), and executive visits. 

  • Advanced expertise in issue management, advocacy, campaigns, and association management.

  • Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple stakeholders and high-profile assignments with outstanding results.

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and networks, align resources and collaborate across teams to deliver excellent results the right way.
