There are two Chevron companies operating in the Philippines: Chevron Holdings Incorporated (CHI) and Chevron Philippines Incorporated (CPI).
CHI is a shared services center providing transactional, processing, and consulting services in the areas of finance and accounting, information technology, supply chain management, human resources, downstream customer service and marketing. Established in 1998, CHI serves Chevron affiliates in six continents around the world. Over the years, it has grown to be one of the leading members of the shared services industry in the Philippines.

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Intercompany Analyst. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Books and sends of intercompany transmittals which include coordination of charges to be transferred from one consolidated Chevron company to another.
- Books and bills of redirections and charge-outs which include cost center and suspense accounts clearing.
- Monthly Excellence in Reconciliation (XR) reconciliation and analysis of all intercompany receivable, payable and suspense balances of handled Chevron companies. This includes trace and escalation of imbalances for resolution and matching and clearing of open items in XR.
- Monthly intercompany settlement & collection of restricted balances.
- Preparations of intercompany invoices to comply with in-country regulations for selected companies.
- Quarterly accounts reconciliation and analysis (ARRS, Blackline and / or GARS) of intercompany GL accounts in accordance with FSS Accounts Reconciliation standards. This includes trace and escalation of reconciling items and reporting.
- Supports other intercompany activities with customers and trading partner companies.
- Demonstrates process leadership by providing guidance to customers or trading partner company contacts on global Intercompany guidelines and policies and process standards.
- Exercises We Lead expectations in the day-to-day activities. Initiate and participate in process improvement efforts. Work to eliminate, streamline, standardize and automate own processes and processes within the team to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Practice fiduciary role by safeguarding company’s assets and taking ownership of own process.
- Follows proper procedures and controls to maintain accounting records that comply with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and Chevron’s accounting policies.
- Participates as member of Intercompany Upstream Midstream and Downstream Team.
- Meet all requirements of Corporate Compliance functions including but not limited to Internal Controls, Information Protection, Conflict of Interest, and Environmental, Fire, Safety, and Health.
- Coordinates special projects and other ad hoc roles as assigned.
- Performs other administrative functions as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree major in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Accounting Technology and related courses.
Demonstrated experience and background in Finance, Accounting, and/or Audit work
Effective communicator and able to build relationships with various stakeholders and teams
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Innovative and has passion for learning digital tools and technologies
Experience and knowledge in digital tools and other technology systems is an advantage
