Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support the Asset Lifecycle Management and Health, Environmental, and Safety (HES) teams in New Mexico. This role is critical in enabling operational efficiency and administrative excellence across both exempt and non-exempt personnel groups.

Administrative Support

  • Provide direct administrative support to over 40 exempt personnel across New Mexico Asset Lifecycle and HSE teams.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, workshops, and team events, including logistics, scheduling, and materials preparation.
  • Manage office-related expenses, purchases, and vendor coordination.
  • Maintain records and documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Handle non-routine tasks and special projects as assigned.

Fleet & Equipment Management

  • Oversee fleet truck vehicle assignments, maintenance schedules, and usage tracking.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors for fleet-related services and pool activities

Field Operations Support

  • Assist New Mexico field operations with time administration for non-exempt employees, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Support truck fleet management for field personnel, including documentation and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in administrative support roles (5+ years minimum)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -  Communicates in a clear, concise, and effective manner with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience with e-billing and setting up vendors in payment system.
  • Ability to problem solve and use good judgement in making decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Chevron policies and procedures is required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Chevron Way behaviors, including integrity, trust, diversity, partnership, and high performance.
  • 10+ years’ experience in administrative support roles

Relocation Options:

Relocation is not offered for this role. Only local candidates will be considered. 

International Considerations: 

Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
