Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Program Qualification Assistant within the Technical Internal Support (TIS) team,

located in Richmond, CA through 5/1/2026 at 11:59 p.m.

This position is for a Program Qualification Assistant (PA), a critical role supporting Product Qualification (PQ) and program execution activities within the Technical Internal Support organization. The successful candidate will provide direct operational and data support to TIS program managers, enabling the efficient execution of blend requests, laboratory testing, data review, and qualification activities. The role requires frequent coordination with internal stakeholders and interaction with internal and external laboratories.

Responsibilities for this position may include, but are not limited to:

  • Execute blend requests based on guidance from TIS program managers, ensuring required components are available and coordinating with LOB, BSS, and COTJ teams to meet program timing requirements

  • Coordinate shipment of blends to appropriate internal and external laboratories

  • Schedule engine and bench testing at internal and external laboratories in alignment with program manager guidance, ensuring all required registrations and documentation are completed

  • Review incoming laboratory and test data and provide ongoing data support for program tracking and workbooks

  • Perform data integrity checks on candidate data packages, supporting the primary TIS work product and preparation for annual ACC audits

  • Support execution of Product Qualification programs ranging from minor to large, complex programs involving significant testing scope and spend

  • Participate in non‑program initiatives such as process improvements, digital tool enhancements, and system integrations

  • Act as a collaborative team member supporting overall TIS and product qualification objectives

Required Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and execute multiple concurrent activities and workstreams

  • Ability to work closely with program managers and cross‑functional stakeholders to execute program plans

  • Proficiency in data handling, review, and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity of technical information

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to follow established processes while managing execution‑focused responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, data analytics, or a related technical discipline

  • Experience utilizing digital tools for data aggregation, analytics, and reporting

  • Exposure to Power BI, Power Automate, AI‑enabled tools, or similar digital capabilities is preferred

  • Experience supporting testing programs, laboratory coordination, or technical operations

  • Ability to analyze data and provide structured reporting and insights

  • Problem‑solving mindset with interest in continuous improvement and process efficiency

Relocation

Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.

·The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,100– $120,100. The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
