
Chevron is accepting online applications for the Lead Operator and Digital Lead located in Jurong Terminal, Singapore through 27th August 2025 at 11:59 p.m. (SGT).
The role will involve as Lead Operator for Tank Truck Loading Rack (TTLR) and White Oil (WO) - Mogas/Diesel supply chain and inventory planning in terminal.
It will also serve as Digital Lead for digitalization initiatives and tools/software deployment in terminal.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Lead Operator (TTLR and WO):
Serve as Lead Operator for Tank Truck Loading Rack (TTLR) and White Oil (WO - Mogas/Diesel) supply chain and inventory management in terminal.
Plan and manage supply of white oil transfer from SRC with value chain optimization (VCO) team according to terminal storage ullage and demand forecast or lifting.
Act as team lead for TTLR operation team to make sure TTLR operation is running safely and smoothly without interruption (operator coverage, equipment availability and reliability, upkeep of TAS/ABB system) to meet TTLR customer demand.
Schedule and manage internal inspections of white oil tanks to maintain inventory levels and prevent supply disruptions to TTLR and jetty operations.
Liaise closely with Caltex retail team, Commercial and Industry (C&I) Business Consultants to ensure customer demand is met and stock-out situations are avoided for all white oil products.
Guide operators in executing tank truck inspections, driver accreditation, loading procedures, Accuload usage, inventory and invoicing processes, overfill protection protocols, and adherence to the Road Transport Safety (RTS) Management Plan.
Digital Lead:
Lead and implement terminal digital shaping plan, drive continuous improvement to improve terminal competitiveness.
Oversee deployment of digital hardware including IIOT devices (valve position sensors, vibration and pressure sensors), area temperature (WBGT) monitor, area gas detection systems, and DCS system upgrades.
Manage software initiatives such as Fuelfacs, operator inspection apps (operator routine duties), alarm management in DCS, PI Vision, ePTW, SAP Fiori, and Microsoft Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
Required Qualifications:
Education: Minimum Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline, supply chain management, or digital technology.
Experience: Preferably 5–8 years in Tank Truck Loading Rack (TTLR) operations, supply chain management, inventory planning, or terminal storage operation.
Digital Technical Skills: Advantageous to have familiarity with digital tools and systems such as:
IIOT technologies (e.g., LoRaWAN network) and deployment
ABB Distributed Control System (DCS)
Terminal Automation System (TAS)
Fuelfacs, operator routine duty apps, ePTW, and other terminal-related software.
Leadership & Management:
Proven ability to lead a small team effectively.
Strong customer focus and time management capabilities.
Interpersonal Skills:
Collaborative team player with excellent communication and influencing skills.
Capable of managing multiple stakeholders across functions.
Relocation Options:
Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
International Considerations:
Selected candidate will work in Singapore under the local payroll system and benefits.
