This role will lead Chevron’s HR Process Excellence team, responsible for migrating, standardizing, and streamlining global HR processes across the HR function and our HR Shared Services Centers. This is a leadership role tasked with modernizing and optimizing HR processes on a global scale while ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical capabilities.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
- Strategic Vision & Planning: Assisting the HR function in planning for the future, connecting process excellence perspective to business strategy, and ensuring that systems and processes align with business goals.
- Lead HR process analysis and optimization process: Analyze current HR processes and systems to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement to enhance HR service delivery.
- Drive technology innovation: Evaluate further application of current technology stack and emerging opportunities to improve HR process efficiency and capabilities.
- Project Management: Lead regional and global projects; managing risk, driving timelines, and communicating updates to senior management audiences.
- Data Analysis, Performance Metrics & Reporting: Develop and monitor KPIs to assess process effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Change Management Leadership: Lead a global, geographically dispersed team to drive strong results, and help guide broader teams through transformative initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HRSS, Total Rewards, Talent Management, and Enterprise Leading Performance teams to align process improvements with strategic goals.
- Global Integration: Support harmonization of global HR processes across regions, including APAC and EMEA, ensuring compliance with local regulations and enterprise standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration/engineering with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Experience of managing/delivering large scale process transformation and/or projects within a global/complex organization.
- Experience with work migration to Shared services/global business service centers.
- Experience communicating to senior/executive level management on business drivers, transformational changes and financial impacts. Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, facilitation and diplomacy skills
- Experience leading a team to drive results under enhanced and/or critical timelines requirements.
- Problem solving/ resolution skills required with some formal training/accreditation in Lead/Six-Sigma Process Improvement a real plus.
- Awareness of the external market and how other like organizations are utilizing technology or designing workflows/processes to drive competitive performance.
- Well-developed influencing and change management skills that will allow for significant process lead-enabled improvements across the globe. levels within the organization.
- Strong business and technology acumen
- Strong working knowledge of governance structures with practical experience in developing and implementing effective governance processes with appropriate levels of compliance
- Solid understanding of Program Management Office (PMO) and portfolio, program & project management
